Nostalgia is the name of a hypothetical organization that promotes the use of Service Dogs in order to help Veterans suffering from PTSD or TBI by better informing veterans, and friends and families of veterans, about the benefits of these working dogs. This name stems from two things; historically it was applied to soldiers suffering from symptoms of PTSD during past wars, and the desires of our current veterans afflicted with PTSD and TBI, who have a ‘wistful affection for the past,’ or simply a desire to feel normal again. In order to raise awareness and create solutions for the lack of funding service dog organizations face, I have designed a series of posters and products that help to promote the organization I created.
