Around 20% of veterans suffer from PTSD. That number is most likely an underestimation due to misdiagnosis, veterans not seeking help, and other factors like homelessness. Homeless veterans often lack any documentation and become forgotten, preventing them from receiving treatment they need. PTSD unchecked and homelessness is a dangerous combination with each worsening because of each other in a vicious cycle. In order to visually represent this problem I screenprinted two sets of uncomfortably distorted images on top of cardboard.
